Do
Do is the stage name of Dutch singer Dominique Rijpma‑van Hulst. She first gained recognition with her cover of Bryan Adams’ song Heaven.
Debut
“Real Good” was Do’s debut single. Although the song received regular airplay on the music channel TMF, it did not become a hit. Her second single, “Heaven,” however, turned into a major success. The popularity of the song spread internationally, reaching countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and Canada.
Albums
Her self-titled debut album was released in 2004. For this record she recorded the duet Voorbij with Dutch singer Marco Borsato, which became a number-one hit. Other albums released by Do include Follow Me, Zingen in het Donker, and the Christmas album Bubbles & Bells.
Television
In 2011, Do performed Hij Gelooft in Mij on the television program De Beste Zangers van Nederland, and the song became a hit. In addition to her music career, Do has also worked as a model and served as a judge on the Belgian version of the television show The X Factor.
